CO-ORGANIZATION OF AN ART EXHIBITION OF CYPRIOT ARISTS BY THE ROTARY CLUB NICOSIA-LEFKOTHEA AND THE CYPRUS CHAMBER OF FINE ARTS (E.KA.TE)
The Rotary Club "Nicosia-Lefkothea" and E.KA.TE., in the context of their contribution to society, are co-organizing a Charity Art Exhibition of Cypriot Artists, in April 2022 at the head office of the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC).
EAC will be the Major Sponsor of the Exhibition covering the costs of the organization and promotion of the Exhibition.
The net proceeds of the Exhibition will be allocated equally to two important social causes:
To cover the needs of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Archbishop Makarios III(Makario) Childern’s Hospital in terms of essential medical equipment. As it isknown, Makario Hospital is the model children's hospital in Cyprus and serves themost serious and urgent cases from all over Cyprus. Although Makario hospital is astate institution, the ICU of the hospital is currently facing urgent needs in equipment.
To cover the needs of the Non-Govermental, Non-Profit organization "ITHAKI"(https://ithakicyprus.com) which offers care to persons diagnosed with some form ofdementia as well as psychosocial support to the families of these individuals. TheCenter, which is open to the whole community, offers day care to patients who aremainly elderly people. The equipment concerns the installation of an interactiveactivity technology which aims at activating the senses of the patients with beneficialeffects on their cognitive behavior. This innovative equipment is currently found onlyin similar institutions abroad. The needs of the organization are covered by 50% bystate sponsorship and by 50% by donations and contributions.

The ROTARY CLUB NICOSIA LEFKOTHEA in cooperation with the Cyprus Chamber of Fine Arts (E.KA.TE) is organizing a Charity Art Exhibition of Greek Cypriot & Turkish Cypriot Artists between 6-16 April 2022 at the Head office of the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (11, Amfipoleos Str., 2025 Strovolos).
The net proceeds of the Exhibition will be allocated equally to two important social causes: To cover the needs of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Makario Childrens Hospital Nicosia in terms of essential medical equipment and to cover the needs of the Non-Governmental, Non-Profit organization "ITHAKI" Ithaki charity organisation which offers care to persons diagnosed with dementia.
The opening of the Exhibition will be on Monday, 11th April 2022 at 7 PM by the President of the House of Representatives, Mrs Annita Demetriou - Αννίτα Δημητρίου.
A total of 54 artists with 82 artworks participate in the exhibition.

Ο Ροταριανός Όμιλος «Λευκωσία-Λευκοθέα» σε συνεργασία με το Επιμελητήριο Καλών Τεχνών Κύπρου (Ε.ΚΑ.ΤΕ) διοργανώνει μεγάλη Εικαστική Έκθεση Ελληνοκυπρίων και Τουρκοκυπρίων Καλλιτεχνών από τις 6-16 Απριλίου 2022 στο χώρο των Κεντρικών Γραφείων της Αρχής Ηλεκτρισμού Κύπρου (Αμφιπόλεως 11, 2025 Στρόβολος) για στήριξη δύο σημαντικών κοινοφελών σκοπών, την Μονάδα Εντατικής Θεραπείας του Μακάρειου Νοσοκομείου και του Ιδρύματος “Ιθάκη” για φροντίδα ατόμων με άνοια.
Τα εγκαίνια θα πραγματοποιηθούν στις 11 Απριλίου 2022 και ώρα 7 μ.μ. από την Πρόεδρο της Βουλής των Αντιπροσώπων Κα Αννίτα Δημητρίου.
Στην Έκθεση συμμετέχουν 54 καλλιτέχνες με 82 έργα.
