Second exposure of the LYNX Award 2016 to Lokarjeva Galerija Ajdovščina (Slovenia)
Saturday, November 26 at 19:00 will be inaugurated in Ajdovščina (Slovenia) is the second exhibition of the finalists of the International Prize Arte Contemporanea LYNX 2016. The competition was also edited this year by Aeneas Chersicola and Richard Tripodi with the promotion and organization of 'Cultural Association The Sextant (Trieste).
Nearly three hundred members, fifty finalists divided into four categories (painting, photography, digital art and graphics). Besides the first prize in each category, the jury composed of fifteen professionals has assigned six special exhibition awards, six special Art Well Builder awards and the prize to the artist reserved Under 21. The initiative promoted by the Associazione Culturale The Sextant was sponsored by the regional council of Friuli Venezia Giulia, the Municipality of Ajdovščina, the Municipality of Trieste, from Ugo Guidi Museum of Forte dei Marmi and he has also had the collaboration of the Municipality of Livorno. Among the participants in this second edition of the Prize LYNX stand languages and cultures of artists from thirty different nations and five continents that will give the public a partial panorama of contemporary art in this historic moment. The LYNX Award represents more and more a place of geo-cultural comparison, which allows sharing experiences, different styles and generations. In line with this goal it has been confirmed this year as the location for the second exposure the Lokarjeva Galerija, nerve center of discussion among artists from all over the world.
The list of artists, and the winning works of the prizes awarded by the LYNX Award is available on the official web site www.premiolynx.com . The bilingual catalog, designed by Franco Rosso Publisher, will be available in the gallery or by request to associazioneilsestante@gmail.com . The exhibition will remain open until Friday, December 16, 2016 and then moved to January 2017 in Zagreb, Croatia, and in March in Livorno for the fourth and final exhibition scheduled.
